Hereis the “Smoking-Hookah.com” Israeli site online store, which I would not have used, but it seems that the plastic pvc hose which I wanted to show you might be sold out?

“Smoking-Hookah.com” is contantly bring in new innovative ideas and re-planning while ordering more of the good stuff.

All the hoses here are terrific. I mainly like the Syrian hoses,

but from “Egypt” (probably Hong Kong, nu, so what?) comes the worlds only truly washable hose.

PVC plastic, 100%. Its very elastic and moves in any direction without thought of  knocking down  your hookah.

No bad aftertaste which in many hoses last forever, tremendous draw and lots more smoke. I am smoking 3 comparable narghilot now with three hoses to compare, and the pvc hose is by far the best.

What I have done is simply to connect 2 hoses and I have a

270mm hose (2  meters and 70 mm).     In inches its 80 inches which in feet long : 6.666666feet long. As long as your typical basketball player almost.

 http://www.nargilot.co.il/Products/49/modern.asp

You could easily put your hookah out the window and smoke inside with no one being the wiser.

Its great around the camping fire,  you can be very flexable.

There  are no metal supports to rust  out powder like in your mouth. Just  ribbed  pvc plastic in green, blue, black and grey.

To make the connection I at first just inserted one of the long ends into the pvc of the second hose,  which left me the long hard plastic shaft in the middle which made it unwieldly. So I cut out with a serated kitchen knife  (or saw) 23 mm or 7 inches and re-attatched.

The  7 inches or so to be cut should of course come from the plastic COLOURED handle, , not the brown connection to the hookah itself.

Tose who are brave and foolish might like to take out  and despence with the coloured mouthpiece and tape the black or green ribbed hose together.

I worked on a farm in the Israeli desert¬† for¬† more than 3 years¬† in 1974-78 after the army utilizing the new Israeli invented and produces water hose lines. You need a “muffah” which is a connection between twosimilar sized pipes or them being the same size will never make an air-tight conection. At any rate, even I used some colourful electric tape onthe already well done connection.

I’m quite pleased to be writing this blog! Hookah and making innovations, plus discussing other people’s better ideas as well as procurring great shisha products and smoking are a big hobby of mine!

Hookah 1

I imagine that a 6.66666 foot hose cools the smoke more along the way, and what is strang, there is absolutely no more effort to draw a toke on it, since the diameter opening is very big!

I couldn’t get the photos from the site, it won’t “allow”, but if you go to this link and check for whay obviously look like 5 cloured plastic hoses, you’ll get the idea.

Washing is a sinch and no aftertast from coal or previous tobacco used. Lightweight too.

(If you also cut the 7 inch extra¬† hard plastic rod which is used as a long smoking stem, try drilling a few holes in it and you’ll have a homemade musical pipe!

I’ll bet you think I’m selling lighters, but no!

Hi,

On a lot of the mini and junior hookahs you will often find that the part of the metal shaft going down into the water glass bowl is very short. Which causes you to raise the water level high  and their is very little air space.

I happen to have about 3 of these kinds of cheap  store bought lighters that some are refillable.

They are great for not burning hands when lighting coals, but I solved an even bigger group of issues.

Since they are cheap, when yours runs out of butane, you can refill it, but the flame will never be as long as it was before.

I had the idea of taking the black metal “nose” piece where the fire comes out of and easily detaching it. (In this picture above they are silver coloured which is even better.

There is a slight slit  an half inch long on the top of the pipe where it was added on by some underpaid Chinese worker to make a snug fit.

Well after detaching the “needle nose” part, I then fitted it perfectly to the smooth bore of the metal shaft which goes into the water!

The positive results are a few! One is a longer shaft, which gives you room to play with YOUR desired water level. You won’t have to blow smoke out of the top after every toke.

Secondly, look at the part of the “needle nose” where the fire comes out….You have there one nice sized bore, as well as from 8-10 tiny holes which act as the perfect diffusser. A diffusser makes many smaller bubbles, breaking up the bigger ones, making the smoke even cooler and filtering crap out of the water.

The sound when toking on the hose is more of a soothing hiss. If you don’t want to be caught smoking by mommy or daddy, don’t want to get caught by the dean in the dormitory at school, or don’t want to wake up your loved one, than this diffuser is a free trip for YOU.

I am happy as punch with the results!

Or as mentioned, take bending plastic straws and cut them down a third of the long part. In the big hookah shafts I got 5 in. In the smaller hookahs, 3 entered.

The also act as diffusers with the same results. Even better, each one goes in a different direction hitting the glass sides!

The “short straw” is that when you go to clean your hookah, you will find them midly dirty, which shows they filtered the water, and you must replace them with new ones.!

Hookah 1

Light up your hookah’s water base

Default LabelFinally found a photo to take down from “Smoking-Hookah.com”s French-sister company

http://www.smoking-hookah.com/Products/Accessories/Bubbly-under-water-motion-light.asp

I’m trying to find it on youtube.

What you get (as shown in the above link) are two plastic balls with a tiny electronic battery inside that float in the water of the base non seeable , until you toke on the hose, move the water and this motion sets off about 5 neon-like colours inside the vase. Very strongly.

You can see the photo on the link above, sold by “Smoking-Hookah.com) for $9.95.

When the water is stable, the colour action stops, until more hookah bubbles are created again.

The two balls are waterproof.

Here are a few similar bubble videos from you tube. again, checkthe above link to see what is meant by¬† “Bubbly-under-water-motion-light”similar to these :

Here is a gigantic example above water at a rock cocert :

The difference is that the hookah flashing bulbs are strobe and multi-coloured.

Here is a real electric (only one coloured ) strobe, while the little balls are cloured and small electronic.

Burning hookah coals cause 2 deaths :

Be smart around the hookah.  Play it safe. A good idea is to get a big  square of sheet tin thicker than tin foil for permanent use under the hookah to save on dirt, burnt holes in the wood or rug, Keep in mind that if  the round coals fall, they roll away far from the narghilah and could cause a fire, or burn someone nearby.
