We , the dedicated hookah smokers around the world all use tin foil to place our coals on (shiny side down)

Go to fullsize imageso that they won’t burn the shisha tobacco. That includes the Arabs and India who originated the hookah, and didn’t have tin foil to use!

Go to fullsize imageI use a foil  pie tin instead of the normal ash catcher plate as big as I want so that I won’t have ash, or worse falling coals on the floor.

Go to fullsize imageWithout the pie of course!There are even bigger ones, of course!I  cut in the middle a hole so that it goes over the shaft, then place the original heavy metal ash tray to weight it down.

Another good idea is rolling out some tin foil under the hookah so that you won’t dirty or worse burn your rug or floor!Go to fullsize imageGo to fullsize imageGo to fullsize image
