The Hookah Lounge

I work from home on my P.C. after teaching young children for 24 wonderful years.(My defence attorny said it was time to quit or 15 years hard labour so I got off lucky).I  bought a new P.C.  4 months ago after my last one very old would no longer  even start. I also bought a battery supply  since our electicity goes off for nano seconds often in my village.A real cutie, and it keeps me warm at night.

But I was getting complete, abrupt shutdowns, no slow go like this UPS system is supposed to do. This started happening 1,2,3, 4 times a day more and more. After I broke their technical department’s heads trying to figure it out, I turned to my phone company  for internet service,  my server and finally Microsoft                 

 Even Bill told me he didn’t have any idea what was going on. I called my brother who lives nearby and he said, “take  the back off your p.c. where the fan is and carefully vacumn  out”.

 But its only 4 months old, I said. I’d forgotten what the climate is like here. We are 4 brothers living here between Hebron and Bethleham, not far from the Dead sea desert area and lower Jordan valley. After one day of open windows the dust is quite thick.

So why am I telling you all this on a hookah forum?I wanted to see what was in the vacuumn cannister after I vacumned the  p.c. fan.By the way, I did not risk taking the back off since it was built in 2 interlocking layers.The fan was 1/4 of an inch to the surface anyways.

Well, my p.c. started working well with no shut downs. In the vacumn cannister was about 1/7 pollen, 2/7  fine desert dust and 4/7 “soot of the loom” i.e. hookah emmissions in black hues.I use a great quick lighting coal that barely  gives off smoke and next to no  acrid smells like some of them tend to do, but I smoke around 7,8 bowls a day right near my p.c.

so it’s all my own fault. I cleaned the p.c. fan 2 and a half weeks ago, right in the heat of cleaning and preperations for the week long “Passover” holiday of Pesach, but its  shutting down again  twice a day, so I better get the vacumn.

So if anyone tells you that the hookah is dangerous, remind them of walking on the sidewalk in a large city’s pollution, trains, the home fireplace, airports,sewage pipes,laundry detergent,air….
