All dried out.2 tips

I tend often to use large shisha bowls, and after smoking an hour, I can still have lots of shisha left! For a long time I’ve sifted through the shisha remaining foraging. After much experience I can give you this advice!¬† :

If you have shisha left over in your bowl ¬†not burnt,or crisp to the touch but BLACK and¬† gummy its still very good to be smoked. Not “smoked again”, since it was never smoked or would be completely crispy.

Why throw it away? I don’t have tractor loads of $¬†¬†¬†

I have done just this yesterday. I kept the leftover until I had a good ammount (about 100 gram! a lot to waste). I added about a teaspoon full of glycerine         which  I keep on hand, mixed it up well in an open container and left it out to acclimatize and let it soak all the way in for 15 hour or so. Do not put in more than a tespoon per 100 gram, since it DOES have still glycerine in it. Too much will take the fruit taste away.

I am smoking  the mixture now and find it 95% as good as regular shisha!

Here is a nice video on preparing  shisha.

“Its the oil, stupid”

Here is another tip:, if you want¬† a stronger shisha, pipe tobacco with their many great flavours or loose ¬†cigarette rolling tobacco is great to add to¬† your shisha! Or plain.¬† But now you must add twice as much glycerine, since its dry as a¬† desert. ¬†In this ¬†case add¬† a teaspoon¬†¬†¬†per 50 grams dry tobacco, let it sit out open to soak up and to acclimatize for 24 hours.Wait.I’ve done it, smoked it plain but for me¬† its too strong, so I added it to regular flavoured shisha. Much stronger. Don’t overpower¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†your flavoured shisha–add a little.

So don’t worry, be a “Scrooge”, your friends won’t even taste the difference¬†¬† ¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†if you prepare it in the shisha ¬†bowl and put¬† the tinfoil on).

Lastly, to take your eyes¬† and heart out, so to speak, I have found one of the most beautiful collection of art work on Arab life in Northern Africa, Middle East and Iberia , Southern Spain after the Arab conquest of it. You’ll see the positive ¬†cultural effects in art, geometry, building and craftsmenship that they achieved!

I think there are about 40 very large art paintings of day to day life by it seems mainly  the same artist.

Don’t miss this.

There are 3  beautiful paintings of hookah smokers.

  • great continual posts, keep it up.

  • Actually, I soon have to spend all of my time for the next 6 months getting a brain transplant! Margaret Thatcher the former Prime Minister of Great Britain during the 1980’s has agreed to switch her brain for mine! Don’t ask me who will come out better until 6 months from now. Hope to get back to the forum/blog in 6 months (I wish).

  • great idea to add pipe tobacco! Or homemade pipe tobacco shisha with some sugar, or honey, or molasses. Don’t forget the glycerine.
