“Dry Tongue in Mouth Disease”

First Iwas quite confused ,then flustered, and¬†finally really worried!¬†In all my years of smoking hookah it had never happened.

Every puff, every smoke tasted like burnt charcoal.¬†¬†¬† But I know how to keep my shisha from burning, was putting very little in the clay bowl so it wouldn’t touch the raised screen which I use.¬† ¬†I went out and bought 2 other types of coal ,thinking that the reason centered on charcoal.¬†¬† ¬†No change, each coal tasted so bad.¬†¬†¬† Went and got other brands but it didn’t help.¬†¬†¬† I dipped into my large collection of hoses to see if that was the problem, but I was tasting nothing but “blah”.¬† Tried my other hookahs and more of the same.¬†¬†¬† Used different shisha bowls….¬†¬†¬† maybe two weeks went by¬† ¬†& the future didn’t look rosy.¬†¬† ¬†Then it hit me,¬†¬† ¬†being a hot summer ,¬†¬† I was getting dried out and my tongue too ,from smoking.¬†¬†¬†¬† ¬† I decided to drink more fluids with no caffiene while smoking and the crisis fixed itself up.¬†¬†¬† ¬† I could taste again the shisha flavours!¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† ¬† Its a must to drink a lot while smoking, gulp,gulp.
